Meet Your Photographer

Seventeen years. Countless shutters. One enduring passion.

My journey into photography didn't start with a smartphone or a digital sensor; it started in a high school classroom with the mechanical click of an SLR film camera. There was something magic about that first roll of film that changed the way I saw the world, and I’ve been chasing that light ever since.

The Educator’s Eye

By trade, I am a 5th-grade teacher, but I’ve been lucky enough to bring my craft into the hallways of my school through our Photography Club. I absolutely love sharing the "tricks of the trade" with my students—watching their faces light up when they finally understand how to frame a shot or play with light is just as rewarding as taking the photo myself. Whether I’m in the classroom or behind the lens, I’m always looking for those "teachable moments" that turn a simple image into a story.

The Tech & The Gear

I’ll be the first to admit: I’m a bit of a gear enthusiast. Over nearly two decades, I’ve worked with almost every major camera system on the market. I love the "old school" soul of film, but I’m equally obsessed with the cutting-edge technology of today. I’m always exploring new systems to ensure I’m bringing the best possible quality and the latest techniques to every session.

Beyond the Lens

While photography is my craft, my family is my world. I have a supportive fiancé and I am the proud parent of four incredible kids who keep me inspired and remind me why capturing memories matters so much. Life is about to get even sweeter, too—we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first grandson in April 2026!
